# Work Mesh

Work Mesh records the basic events of your work. A window opens, focus moves, a session starts, another ends. It keeps these signals with their timing and pace. No content is stored here, only the activity itself.

The signals follow a simple format so the rest of the system always knows how to read them. The Work Mesh shows what happened, when it happened, and how fast things were moving.

Everything in the fabric starts here. The Work Graph, the Temporal Lattice Memory and the AAOS all rely on this stream as the source of truth for what took place.
